Re-build of a 292 Ford Y-Block....



The re-build of the 292 is coming along nicely.  the tear-down of the engine has been completed and the heads had a complete valve job performed.

  

All components for the re-build have been ordered and all re-usable items have been cleaned in the parts washer and ready for re-assemble.  The customer has chosen a nice set of Polished Aluminum Valve covers (Ford Thunderbird), Edelbrock Intake, and changed out the original oil pan to a rear sump style oil pan.  Barring no unforseen complications....the engine will be completed this week.
